This IP package will be included in the upcoming sealed bid event taking place on September 26, 2013. Bids for this lot will be accepted starting September 24 through September 26.

In detail, headers and data of a network packet are separated and processed by unique arrangement of the network interface controller (NIC), application, and operating system (OS). Therefore, less time and processing power of the OS and central processing unit is consumed for managing the data packets. This eliminates the need for a costly NIC to independently manage the data processing. Also, the OS has full control over the data packets, which ensures security of the host device. Furthermore, relevant feedback about network traffic and data flow is received by the OS from the NIC, which may help the OS in making various decisions based on network traffic. The disclosed technique can maximize the use of available network bandwidth, thereby, using architecture that optimizes data transfer over networks at extremely high speeds but at reduced power.
