Sets Sights on New Challenges within Electric Vehicles

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 11, 2013

Room 5, a leading software consulting firm, has been collaborating with MotoCzysz, a leader in the development of electric motorcycles, who recently won its fourth Isle of Man TT title. MotoCzysz has bigger aspirations than first place; they want to define the future of electric motorcycles. To help accomplish their goal, MotoCzysz worked with Room 5 to overcome a common challenge in electric vehicles: optimizing the balance between range, temperature and power while maximizing performance.

By collaborating with Room 5, MotoCzysz developed a system that manages the energy of the vehicle to balance the dynamic between range, temperature and power. This process forms a continual loop of analysis and adjustment, ensuring that the vehicle is always operating at maximum performance and efficiency.

Nick Schoeps, Lead Motorsports Engineer for MotoCzysz, sees the new system as a product of the combined effort of the creative minds of MotoCzysz and Room 5. “The collaboration and expertise provided by Room 5 was instrumental in bringing forward a deeper understanding of our systems and energy profile,” Schoeps said.

Room 5 CEO David Foos agreed that the enhanced performance of the Ep1c Motorcycle would not have been possible without this collaboration.

“Room 5 is pleased to be working with the MotoCzysz team because we see the potential to illuminate and solve the performance issue with electric vehicles,” Foos said. “The resulting technology should lower the overall barrier to consumer adoption and make electric vehicles more appealing. The MotoCzysz team is pushing the performances boundaries in the most extreme situation—the racetrack.”
