Shi DeRu Shaolin Team Brings 11 Golds As Back To School Gifts To Atlanta
Shi DeRu Shaolin Institute team won another sets of 10 gold medals, 9 silver medals; along with two brown medals and a World Sanda Fighting Championship Gold Belt, putting 21 more medals plus a gold belt to their hundreds of international medal and gold belt accomplishment list.

The Shaolin Legacy Team, consisting of ten competitors from Shaolin Institute together under the tutelage of Grand Master Shi DeRu, competed in the two day International Chinese Martial Arts Championship (ICMAC) World Wide Circuit main event in Orlando, Florida.
Put up against athletes from around the world, each of the 10 competitors metaled for a total of 21 medals awarded: 10 gold; 9 silver; along with two brown medals and a Golden World Sanda Fighting Championship Belt.
Gabe Butler: captured three gold medals in straight sword, giant traditional Pu Dao and staff fighting; two silver medals in Shaolin 7-star empty hand and Shaolin Staff youth division.
Shi Zhong Qin (chief assistant coach): won two gold medals in International traditional and weapon divisions – Shaolin Luohan Quan and Shaolin Staff, one silver medal and one brown medal in two International Traditional and Weapon open divisions separately. He was also honored by all masters and competitors as the best competitor of the international division.
Alex Yu , obtained 2 gold medals in teen staff sparring and teen traditional Shaolin staff as well as one silver medal in traditional Shaolin empty hand form.
Cassandra Sterling, earned a silver medal for her first event youth girls empty hand, she went on to get another silver medal in traditional Shaolin Staff. She finally captured a gold medal with staff fighting as her confidence grew.
Byron Fisher: got a gold medal in Youth Staff Sparring.
Chen Zhe, (assistant coach): obtained two silver medals in the International Tai Chi 42 and Tai Chi sword divisions.
Ena Rajic got one silver and one brown medal.
Juan Lozada: took a gold medal in his first ever fighting event with a TKO.
Joshua Joseph won his fight with no doubt in all judges and audience mind. He won his first international fighting gold belt with over dominance and unanimous decision.
Grand Master Shi DeRu has led teams from Shaolin Institute in over one hundred national and international competitions including 5 Wushu World Championships. Those teams have captured over 300 medals and among them are over one hundred international and national champion gold medals. Team members have given demonstrations to over 1 million peoples in over a hundred cities all over the world from Washington D.C., US, to Toronto, Canada, from Brazil to Italy from Hong Kong to Armenia
