Tokyo | Guardtime, the world's leading provider of Keyless Signature Infrastructure (KSI) software and solutions for information assurance, today announced the appointment of Mr Fujii Kiyotaka to its advisory board. Fujii-san previously served as CEO and President of SAP Japan.

"I'm thrilled to join the Guardtime team and see tremendous opportunities for the technology in Asia. I share Guardtime's vision of ubiquitous data authentication in the digital world, and look forward to helping to introduce KSI technology to the largest multinationals and governments in China, Japan, India and Africa, who can appreciate the promise of complete accountability and transparency in digital society."

Mike Gault, CEO of Guardtime added: “Fujii-san's track-record in building business across Asia is unrivaled. We couldn't ask for a better addition to our team and I'm looking forward to his contribution in making KSI technology de facto global standard for data authentication for the world’s governments, as well as in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, energy, defense, transportation and automotive sectors."

Most recently, Guardtime announced the launch of KSI technology on China Telecom's 3G enablement platform; partnership with the Ningbo Certificate Authority in Zhejiang province in People’s Republic of China to bring proof of time and integrity to government services; Japan Drones to provide additional layer of software assurance for UAV control software; and with CAT Telecom, the state-owned telecommunications incumbent in Thailand.

About Guardtime

Guardtime brings transparency and accountability to digital society. Founded in Estonia in 2007, Guardtime’s Keyless Signature Infrastructure (KSI) technology allows electronic activity to be verified using formal mathematical methods without the need for trusted humans. Deployed by the enterprise and governments, KSI provides an independent audit trail for everything that happens in digital society, limiting liability and making it impossible for insiders' intent on fraud or sophisticated cyber attackers to manipulate data and cover their tracks.
