Destination XL Launches Mobile-Optimized Site With Full Compliment of Acquity Group Services

Destination XL launches its first mobile website with Acquity Group’s strategy, design and mobile platform technology implementation expertise.

Acquity Group supported the design of a separate mobile site—for Android and iOS operating systems—making searching for products, reading product reviews, finding a nearby store, and managing customer accounts as accessible as possible for the smartphone visitor. Acquity Group supported Destination XL in competitive analysis, user experience, wireframes, visual designs, front-end development, and eCommerce platform integration throughout the planning and execution to create a truly mobile-optimized site.

In addition to user-friendly features, the new mobile site integrates fully with Destination XL’s loyalty program and allows users access to rewards directly from their iPhone or Android mobile device. Users can redeem when they checkout via mobile, or can access an image that can be scanned at the register if they check out in store.
