Today there are 783 million people living without the basic necessity of safe, clean, drinking water. While not all regions of the world are effected by water scarcity, the United Nations have deemed there to be enough regions globally facing extreme water scarcity for the issue to be regarded as a world water crisis.
The above information was take from a new educational article released by SureAqua, portable water filtration company titled, 'Combatting the World Water Crisis.'
The article was written to shed some light on the subject aiming to educate and inform readers on the topic of global water scarcity, and how it is being dealt with today.
"The Water Crisis is something that is merely a topic of news in some regions, but in a lot more regions it is a real issue, one that jeopardizes peoples ability to live essentially. Water is one of the three key human requirements for survival, and to think that millions upon millions go without water on a daily basis is frightening," commented Robert Domanko, Founder and Director of SureAqua.
The article is the first of a series that defines the water crisis, with other articles set to explore the main causes of the crisis, then looking to how and what authorities are doing to repair and better the situation.
"As quoted in the article, there is no way for humanity to beat down this problem, it has just become too big. We believe that in facing this realization, we can rather unify, work together, agree upon solutions and act on resolving the crisis in an effort to adapt to the world we all share today," continued Mr. Domanko.
