Victory Energy announces the hiring of Eng Chuan (Edmund) Tan to a new position as Director of Business Development in the Asia region. Mr. Tan’s primary role involves acting as Victory’s overall business liaison to the Asian markets as well as developing meaningful business relationships throughout Asia as part of Victory Energy’s global market initiative. A resident of Singapore, Tan is tasked with leading business development activities abroad as Victory Energy expands product offerings that fuel global growth.

Mr. Tan brings an extensive history of operating expertise and knowledge in Asia coupled with an extensive background in Heat Recovery Steam Generator know-how and manufacturing, the key markets that Victory Energy is targeting to penetrate for sales and applications growth in developing countries. Previously, Tan served in various executive capacities with overall responsibility for promoting technology transfer and finance control, including annual budgets and revenue forecasting. He provided the overarching leadership influence behind helping to convert a state enterprise into a market-driven company, as well as being an instrumental executive force in serving the sale of a China entity to a European company. A well-recognized thought leader in Heat Recovery Steam Generator products and services, Mr. Tan received his MBA in International Management from the University of South Australia.

The increased emphasis toward concentrating on becoming an international player is a priority for Victory Energy as it is a natural evolution based upon the company’s domestic success.
