More Than 8,000 MSPs Now Using the GFI MAX Integrated MSP Platform
Continued, strong customer growth attributed to GFI’s engagement with MAX customers and the greater MSP community
DURHAM, N.C., Sept. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — GFI MAX(TM) today announced that more than 8,000 managed services providers are now using GFI MAX RemoteManagement(TM), supporting more than 600,000 MSP engineer logins every month. The growth of GFI MAX RemoteManagement, which supported just over 6,000 MPSs at this time last year, illustrates the continued demand for a single, integrated platform that MSPs can use to manage a variety of services for their customers. The GFI MAX platform provides remote monitoring and management, mail security, backup, antivirus and patch management solutions to MSPs of all sizes from start-up to mature, well-established companies.

GFI MAX also announced a number of additional milestones made possible by the team’s commitment to providing its customers with the services and features required to satisfy MSPs’ ever-expanding needs. Nearly 10 million remote access sessions have been supported by GFI MAX’s Take Control feature which enables administrators to gain easy and secure remote access to any server or workstation on the network, whether it is attended or unattended, all from the GFI MAX RemoteManagement dashboard. In addition, over 260 million remote monitoring checks run each day and more than 5.7 million automated maintenance tasks are run each month via the GFI MAX platform. The solution’s Managed Online Backup feature has also enabled 5.5 million fast, secure and reliable backups to be made since it was launched last year.
The MAX platform also enables administrators to provide comprehensive network security through a strong portfolio of tools. Nearly one million threats are quarantined each month by GFI MAX Managed Antivirus, and GFI MAX MailProtection has been used to stop over eight billion spam messages from reaching users’ inboxes over the past year. MSPs are also able to better secure their clients’ networks with GFI MAX RemoteManagement’s vulnerability scanning and patch management capabilities. Over 13 million updates for both Microsoft® and non-Microsoft applications have been installed using GFI MAX.
GFI MAX solutions are quick to install, allowing administrators to get up and running in just 10 minutes. The GFI MAX platform enables MSPs to proactively monitor and maintain their clients’ servers and workstations, allowing them to identify and fix problems before clients know there is an issue, while branded reports enable them to attract new customers. GFI MAX also offers pre-packaged services that allow MSPs to build recurring revenue from existing customers by offering daily health checks on backups, antivirus status, workstations, event logs and other critical system elements.
