South Carolina Man Designed World’s Thinnest Rocking Chair

September 20, 2013

Beautifully Crafted Ready-to-Assemble Chair Design of the Future.

Myrtle Beach, SC (PRWEB) September 20, 2013

The simplicity of this chair design and the use of a small sheet of plywood make this rocking chair quite environmentally friendly, and the fact that it may be easily stored inconspicuously behind a curtain, couch or under a bed, is about as uncluttered as you can get. Finally, someone designed a folding chair that rocks.

This rocking chair is the first design that collapses down to a thickness of a mere 3/4" thin. The chair is designed for space savers who want to throw the occasional dinner party. When collapsed, the chair ends up being as flat as a pancake. But stacking isn't the only option; the chair features calculated interlocking cuts and grooves that were done by a C N C machine and allow the chair to be assembled in a few seconds with no hardware or tools required.
