Denver, CO (PRWEB) September 20, 2013
Mr. Sanders joins EcoGroomer after serving as National Channel Sales Manager for health and military divisions with Superfeet Worldwide, Inc. for over a decade. As a life-long mountain sports enthusiast, Mark grew up in a resort town, was a competitive Nordic and alpine ski racer and maintains a deep passion for mountain sports to this day. During his career at Superfeet, Mark developed innovative sales and marketing strategies resulting in a profitable and enduring distribution network. Mark’s strengths are in sales and brand development, creative strategy and his proven ability to identify and persuade key decision makers.
Mark now plans to devote considerable time, strategy, leadership and marketing talents to the EcoGroomer brand. “Bringing Mark on board to leverage his industry network and experience was an obvious choice for us”, said EcoGroomer CEO, Daniel Osborne. “Things clicked with us from the very beginning and we have now hit the ground running on several projects”, he continued. Mr. Sanders added, “I’ve been yearning for an opportunity such as this, to be able to innovate and help bring exciting and positive changes to the snow sports industry”. In fact Mark is so convinced that EcoGroomer is poised for success, he has made a sizable capital investment in the company.
EcoGroomer is a resort services company that is bringing several new innovations to the snow sports market. The first is an innovative winch groomer – the Graphit – that is safer, lighter and better than anything available in North America, thanks to a recent partnership with Aztec SAS in France. The next product, scheduled for launch in December is the PowerMaker 2.0, a new and proprietary snow grooming implement developed by EcoGroomer. This innovation will provide a softer, more powdery snow surface in contrast to the standard corduroy that has been the norm in the ski industry since the 1980’s. The flagship technology for the EcoGroomer brand, due later in 2014/2015, is an integrated snow grooming system that allows a single operator to cover up to 200% greater surface area with an extra-wide grooming path. This technology provides a tremendous productivity improvement in the field of snow grooming. Overall fuel efficiency will be improved by more than 35% and total slope grooming expenses will be reduced significantly at major resorts with this much anticipated new technology.
