Get ready for a fun detective number game for kids. A fun math game and an air pressure experiment have been published on Kids Activities Blog that sneak in a bit of learning.

Get ready to raid the recycling bin to find materials for the fun math detective game. Find a series of 10 containers, preferably recycled ones, that the kids cannot peak into. Other supplies needed are 55 pennies and 55 marbles.

Fill inside the first bottle one marble. The second bottle gets two marbles and so on. The tenth bottle, which is the last one, gets of course 10 marbles. Close the caps securely on the bottles so they cannot be opened by the kids. Preferably glue them shut.

A wide variety of games can be played according to the age of the child. Playing a guessing game by asking to put the containers in order according to their weight or simply listening to the marble sound and guessing how many are inside are just a few of the fun games.

Older kids may enjoy a game where two bottles are missing and they have to guess the numbers that are missing from the bottle order. The kids will have a blast shaking and rattling the bottles to find out the answers.

Another great educational activity makes the air pressure experiment. Materials needed are two kitchen sponges, a straw, two pom poms, and a zip lock bag. Let the child experiment with blowing air inside the bag and then letting them squeeze the air out of the sponges. They will love shooting the pom poms across the kitchen table to demonstrate their findings.
