Birch Capital Does Case Study with Onehub
Birch Capital talks about why they chose Onehub, and continues to use Onehub, in recent case study.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) October 17, 2013
Onehub, the online file sharing solution for businesses, recently published a case study showcasing their client, Birch Capital, a specialty real estate finance group and Birch REA (Real Estate Advisors), a firm that offers consulting, advisory, and valuation service to corporations, investors, financial institutions and developers.
Onehub spoke with J. Bruce Ricciuti, managing director of Birch Capital and president of Birch REA. Ricciuti shared with Onehub some of the challenges they had with previous online file sharing services. The problems ranged from basic usage and login problems to a lack of customization and control over user permissions. As a firm that frequently handles financial data, Birch Capital and Birch REA both consider confidentiality paramount.
After doing some research, Birch decided to sign up for Onehub’s free 14-day trial. Onehub’s ability to allow Birch to customize the look and feel of their account, and have better control over user permissions, led Birch to select Onehub.
Birch likes the customization features that are included with Onehub’s white labeling. This allows Birch to replace the default Onehub logo with their own brand and include their own hosted domain name. Since they switched to Onehub, it has greatly improved their customer experience.
Birch Capital needs to give investors access to large amounts of financial information including photographs, videos, site building plans, and legal documents. From the REA company, numerous real estate files are continuously being uploaded and downloaded so people can work on them.
Information between the two companies must be kept secure to ensure confidentiality. At the same time, they share data regarding different projects and investments that can only be accessed by approved individuals. With Onehub’s granular user permission features, Birch never has to worry about files getting into the wrong hands.
“Limitations with our previous tool got us into some very embarrassing situations around this,” explains Ricciuti. “But with Onehub, we can customize who we send our information to, how we receive information back from them, and whether everyone has visibility into everyone else’s activity.”
When asked their opinion of Onehub’s services, Ricciuti replies, “I would recommend Onehub without any doubts.”
