Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) October 19, 2013
Ostroff Injury Law filed a Complaint against Greyhound Bus lines in the Civil Trial Division of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas on behalf of William and Gloria Koomson. (1) Mr. Koomson was allegedly injured as a Greyhound bus passenger seated near the rear of the bus. CNN.com reported on October 9, 2013, that over 40 passengers were injured and one killed in this Greyhound bus accident, which occurred at about 1:30 am.
“This is the first lawsuit that has been filed as a result of this Greyhound bus crash that led to one passenger's tragic death and injury to so many others,” said bus accident lawyer Jon Ostroff, the Managing Partner of Ostroff Injury Law, in Plymouth Meeting, PA. “The police investigation is ongoing and we will commence our own independent investigation. We are very anxious to determine why a Greyhound bus came to collide with the rear of a large truck. This is the fourth time in 2013 that a Greyhound Bus has been involved in a highway crash. These Greyhound bus crashes occurred either because the driver passed out or struck the rear of a large truck.” (2)
“We allege in our Complaint that Mr. Koomson suffered serious injuries as a result of being a passenger in this Greyhound bus accident.” Ostroff stated.
Ostroff's law firm has represented passengers and filed lawsuits related to past Greyhound bus accidents, alleging that the Greyhound bus driver fell asleep, leading to a crash and several injured passengers.(3)
