Infrascale Meets Growing Partner Demand with New Office in Sydney, Australia

October 20, 2013

Australian MSPs and resellers can now provide secure, branded storage with Infrascale hosted solutions.

Sydney (PRWEB) October 20, 2013

Infrascale, a leader in secure software defined infrastructure solutions, today announced it has opened an Australian office as part of their expansion strategy. The sales office located in Sydney will provide support to partners reselling FileLocker secure file sharing and SOS Online Backup to mid to large enterprises. The sales office expands Infrascale’s Australian presence beyond their Melbourne-based data centre that has hosted Australian customer data since 2005.

Ken Shaw, chief executive officer, Infrascale, says, “With current global economic challenges, many organisations will be focused on cost optimisation projects. Infrascale provides secure, feature-rich solutions that scale, cost-effectively. This is critical as organisations are still tasked with maintaining data security and integrity.”

As more organisations evaluate cloud infrastructure, beyond the usual concerns about security and performance, resistance occurs because Australian IT organisations are particular about ownership and accountability of IT processes, particularly those that directly impact the business.

Matthew Love, sales director for Australia and New Zealand at Infrascale Australia, says, “Because Australian enterprises demand a mature, highly accountable solution, Australian MSPs must provide a high value solution that doesn’t compromise on flexibility and features such as security. Infrascale solutions are an ideal match for the channel with private label branding and a toolbox of proven products at prices that will help them grow.”

The Infrascale platform is an integrated stack of client applications (mobile, desktop and server), cloud layer applications, and backend software. Point solutions are also available, sold separately.

Only FileLocker employs end-to-end encryption from desktop to cloud to keep information completely safe. Files are protected before leaving a device with a personal passphrase known only to the account-holder, transferred over a 256 bit SSL connection, encrypted again and then stored in the FileLocker cloud. Also, files are kept for an unlimited amount of time and each-and-every past version can be restored (unlimited versioning).
