Center for Primary Care Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Augusta area family medical practice is celebrating their 20th anniversary.
Evans, GA (PRWEB) November 25, 2013
Center for Primary Care (CPC) is proud to announce they are celebrating their 20th anniversary. Founded in Oct. 1993 by Dr. Paul Fischer, the practice was set up and doors opened for patients on Dec. 1, 1993 with Fischer as the only physician. The CPC logo was later created by Dr. Fischer in 1997 and represents the three stages of life.
Twenty years has seen CPC expand to seven locations, 27 physicians and 160 staff members. All of their family medicine physicians are board certified and are dedicated to providing a patient-centered medical home.
Their facilities have also stayed up-to-date on the latest medical technology. They have their own imaging department, which is accredited by the American College of Radiology, where they perform ultrasounds, nuclear stress tests, virtual colonoscopies, echocardiograms, bone density testing, X-rays, MRI scans, CT scans and calcium scoring.
They have two laboratories to accommodate blood tests from all the offices and medication dispensaries at every office. To better accommodate their patients, they offer weekend clinics and a physician always on-call after normal business hours.
