WSO2 Director of Product Management to Present Session on Building a Cloud Ecosystem at APIdays Paris 2013
Presentation will examine the roadmap major enterprises are adopting today to encourage API reuse and create an API ecosystem using managed APIs and cloud technologies
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) November 27, 2013
Managed APIs are empowering enterprises to take advantage of new opportunities for monetization by extending processes and services to customers, partners, and other groups within the organization. However, realizing the value of these APIs requires the development of an ecosystem and policies that foster reuse. Isabelle Mauny, WSO2 director of product management, will address this challenge in her presentation at APIdays Paris, “Beyond API’s: Building an Ecosystem.”
APIdays Paris brings together worldwide experts to help participants better understand paradigms behind APIs as well as get up-to-date on the latest thinking on the future of software through APIs, on cloud, big data and Internet of Things (IoT). The event runs December 4-5, 2013 at the Élysées Biarritz in Paris, France. For more information, visit http://paris.apidays.io/2013.
Building an API Ecosystem
Once an enterprise has built APIs and created a developer portal, what's next? In this session, Isabelle will discuss the requirements for encouraging and measuring reuse, as well as the need to build an ecosystem around those APIs, internally and externally. She then will share the milestone plan that large companies are following to address this challenge, leveraging managed APIs along with cloud technologies.
