PolicyPak Rolls Out Pak For Diskeeper

February 3, 2014

The new Pak allows admins to enforce and lock down optimum settings for users in the popular disk defragging application.

(PRWEB) February 03, 2014

PolicyPak Software, the leader in desktop and application management, recently

unveiled a new Pak for Diskeeper.

The pre-configured Pak for Diskeeper gives admins the ability to lockdown and enforce configuration settings so users can’t work around them. For example, admins can use PolicyPak to deliver the Proxy settings for Diskeeper. In the Pak, admins will ensure that “Use a Proxy Server for your LAN” is always checked and then set the IP address and port and make sure that “Bypass proxy server for local address” is checked as well. A full list of features for the Pak can be found on the PolicyPak website.

IT Admins and network administrators who want to try out the PolicyPak software can

get a free trial by attending a Group Policy Webinar at the PolicyPak Website, or by

calling (800) 883-8002.

Jeremy Moskowitz, Group Policy MVP and founder of PolicyPak Software recently talked about the Diskeeper Pak when he said, “Many of your users don’t even know what defragging a hard drive even means, so you definitely don’t want them meddling with the application settings of Diskeeper.”

PolicyPak can deliver settings using Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft

SCCM, Dell KACE, or any other management tool.
