Operation Homefront launches ‘My American Life’ Photo Contest
Grand Prize: $1,000 Visa Card
SAN ANTONIO, May 28, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — America’s military families lead extraordinary lives, and Operation Homefront wants to help share the iconic moments of those lives. The national nonprofit today announced their “My American Life” photo contest, which will launch Wednesday. Contestants can post a snapshot of themselves living their American life on Operation Homefront’s Facebook page or email a photo to socialnet@OperationHomefront.net by Noon EDT, June 6, 2014, for a chance to win a $1,000 Visa gift card. Operation Homefront, which provides emergency financial and other assistance to thousands of military families each year, wants to hear from Americans how they honor the freedoms earned by our service members’ sacrifices.
Participants can send in any kind of photo, but Operation Homefront will be looking specifically for examples of military experience, patriotic moments, or traditional American events. All photos will be posted to a special photo album on their Facebook page.
From all submissions, Operation Homefront will select the top 10 photos including one “fan favorite” which will be the photo with the most likes. Prizes ranging from $50 Amazon gift cards to the grand prize of a $1,000 Visa gift card will be awarded to each of the top 10 winners.
