comScore, Inc. recently reported a 36% increase from January ’07 to June ’07 in the number of Unique Video Streamers on YouTube.com. Additionally, the company found that, in June ’07, there were more than 136 million Unique Video Streamers available across the Internet. Because of YouTube’s position as an idea platform for personal expression, companies are taking note and taking aim at this massive audience. Since the site’s launch, the company has seen visits to the site rise dramatically, indicating the success of this approach and a widespread interest in the campaign. The contest, however, is simply the tip of the iceberg for this Aronson & Company.
