MONROE, La., Oct. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CenturyTel, Inc. is launching unique new products, including Broadband TV, in small-city markets across 25 states. CenturyTel High-Speed Internet customers can now enjoy more than 24 channels of real-time, live television on their computers via CenturyTel's new Broadband TV service.
CenturyTel's Broadband TV service includes anytime, anywhere access to live television. Customers can access a wide range of quality programming including news, weather, sports, history, financial reports, comedy, programs for the family and kids, movies, TV classics and more.
CenturyTel will continually add entertainment choices such as music, on-demand movie and sports programming. With CenturyTel Broadband TV there is no hardware or software to install. It gives customers more control and flexibility to watch TV on their own schedule -- much like DVR technology except it's completely mobile.

"We are excited about providing an alternative to traditional entertainment platforms with the launch of our Broadband TV service. Applications utilizing high-speed streaming audio and video leverage the strength of our network and demonstrate CenturyTel's broadband leadership."
