TEL AVIV, Israel, December 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ and TASE: CRNT), http://www.ceragon.com/, a global provider of high-capacity broadband wireless systems, today announced that it has received an order to supply equipment valued at approximately $1.3 million to CellularOne(R) of Arizona. CellularOne will deploy Ceragon's FibeAir(R) products to provide a complete cellular backhaul and wireless broadband access solution aimed at expanding its service to rural customers. CSG Wireless Inc., Ceragon's VAR, will provide engineering, integration and installation services for the project which is scheduled to begin before the end of this year.
Ceragon's innovative FibeAir 1500P radio system will serve as a network node providing OC-3 East/West traffic topology as well as enable connectivity over distances up to 26 miles. CellularOne's network, with FibeAir 1500P, utilizes 6GHz frequency band with space diversity configuration as well as 18GHz frequency band.
CellularOne's network will also incorporate Ceragon's recently unveiled license-exempt FibeAir 4858 system, which will provide access Ethernet and T1 lines. By using Ceragon's FibeAir family of products, CellularOne will benefit from the convergence of TDM and IP traffic in both licensed and license-exempt bands.
