2 November: Members of the district police department found a cache during an investigative operation in the village of Gubden, the administrative centre of Dagestan’s Karabudakhkentskiy District, on the morning of 2 November, the deputy head of the press service of the Interior Ministry of Dagestan, Mark Tolchinskiy, has told Regnum news agency.

The cache on the territory of the village contained 40 sacks with components of an explosive device. The search is continuing, and more unpleasant discoveries probably expect the police. An expert of the department of the Federal Security Service in the Republic of Dagestan has gone to Gubden to carry out a more detailed examination of the contents of the cache.

The operatives presume that it could be used to carry out terrorist attacks on the territory of the district and republic.
