My Computer Works Partners With Pulte To Offer Residents Unique Lifestyle Enhancements

Posted on: Tuesday, 6 November 2007, 12:00 CST

My Computer Works, Inc., a leading provider of help desk and personal computer support services for thousands of small businesses and home consumers nationwide, today announced a partnership agreement with Pulte Homes, Inc., a FORTUNE 200 company with operations in 51 markets and 26 states. The agreement involves a link for My Computer Works services to be placed on Del Webb Live, a series of highly-interactive Internet portals that serve as a lifestyle resource and communication tool for residents of 52 Del Webb communities across the U.S. The My Computer Works service will be available to over 63,500 people in 30,000 households within Del Webb communities.

"Pulte is really the leader in active adult communities, they set the benchmark with Del Webb," said Luke Ford, President of My Computer Works. "Since they are so highly committed to offering their residents a lifestyle of the highest standards, it made perfect sense for My Computer Works to be a part of the way their residents use their computers on a daily basis. We're excited about offering them the benefits of this great tool."

My Computer Works connects users of the Del Webb Live intranet, available to any Del Webb resident with a computer and internet access, to their staff of U.S.-based support technicians. The technicians connect directly and securely to the user's Microsoft Windows PC using a high-speed internet connection, and will answer computer questions and address computer problems immediately. The Del Webb residents who utilize the service are charged an affordable monthly fee for the service.

The service is available to residents of more than 55 Del Webb communities in 20 states.

"Through our partnership with My Computer Works, Del Webb residents who participate in Del Webb Live now have an easy and exciting way to make their computers work better than ever," said Deborah Murphy, Del Webb Live Project Manager. "My Computer Works can answer computer-related questions over the phone and can connect to our residents' Internet-enabled computers to solve a variety of computer challenges. This modern approach eliminates the hassles of lugging a computer to an in-store location for repair."

With computers a fact of life today for all generations and the dependence on them continuing to grow, finding a knowledgeable, reliable, and available computer resource is increasingly critical. "At My Computer Works we help people who depend on their computers daily but don't want to worry about them. We let people focus on the important things in their lives," said Luke Ford.
