Plain White T’s to Appear on ‘iCarly’

The U.S. pop-punk band Plain White T’s is set to make a guest appearance on the TV teen series, iCarly, Nickelodeon has announced.

Famous for its hit, Hey There Delilah, the group is slated to perform its new single, Our Time Now, on Carly’s Web show in an episode to air Dec. 1.

Having the Plain White T’s appear on the show seems appropriate, given the fact that the band owes much of its success to exposure on the Internet.

iCarly is the first series to infuse kid-created videos into a scripted comedy, Nickelodeon said.

The series follows Carly as she connects with kids every where through her homegrown Web show.

It’s a really cool concept, Plain White T’s lead singer, Tom Higgenson, said in a statement.
