Yahoo!’s chief marketing officer, Cammie Dunaway, has resigned after four years with the internet company. It is understood that Dunaway will step down from her position next month without having another job lined up.

She is the latest high-profile figure to depart Yahoo! this year. Chief executive Terry Semel left the company in the summer, while UK commercial director Blake Chandlee recently announced plans to step down to join social networking site Facebook.

Yahoo! is currently reviewing its UK advertising agency roster as part of an overhaul of its marketing strategy.

The internet services company intends to consolidate its Pounds 2.6m creative account into a single agency.
