A STATE-of-the- art computer was stolen in a house burglary.

Police are appealing for information about the silver coloured Shuttle SN41G2 mini-computer, taken from a house in James Court, off Coleford Drive, St Mellons, Cardiff on November 1. It is believed the high-powered device is one of only three in the country.

Detectives at Rumney CID said burglars got into the house, which backs onto Cath Cobb playing fields, by vaulting the rear fence.

The computer, worth around pounds 750, had a distinctive Grand Theft Auto Vice City sticker on it.

A Samsung, 17-inch, silver-grey PC monitor and a black holdall with wheels and extendable handle, were also taken in the break-in.

Anyone with information can ring Rumney CID on 029 2077 4233 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
