LAS VEGAS, (Consumer Electronics Show) and FREMONT, Calif., Jan. 6
/PRNewswire/ -- Wintec Industries, Inc., a global provider of memory modules, launched its AMP-X DDR2-675 MHz (PC2-5400) module, one of the highest-performing memory solutions on the market today. Designed, optimized and tested to deliver breakthrough performance for computer gaming and digital audio/video editing systems, the modules are available immediately in 256MB, 512MB and 1GB capacities, or in Dual Channel Kits that scale up to 4GB.
Wintec is demonstrating the AMP-X DDR2-675MHz at the Consumer Electronics Show in Booth #35544, South Hall 4.
"Industry demand for better, faster, more intense video and graphics is relentless," said Simon Chen, Senior Vice President at Wintec. "For more than 15 years, our engineers have pushed the boundaries of technology, delivering the ultimate in performance while maintaining the highest quality standards. Third party benchmarks confirm that our new DDR2 module delivers superior buffered, unbuffered, read and write performance, surpassing all competitive offerings on the market today."
Wintec's DDR2-675 MHz features a 240-pin DIMM (Dual-Inline-Memory-Module) with 4-4-4-10 latency. Integrated aluminum heat spreaders are assembled with thermal paste for optimum heat dispersion, and the module operates at 1.8 volts. AMP-X memory modules are optimized for systems built around the latest Intel 915/925 chipset-based boards, and come with a lifetime warranty.
OCPrices.com recently awarded Wintec's DDR2-675 the Editor's Choice Award, which is given to "the best products that excel in both performance and value." According to the review, "This memory sure beats other DDR2 memories reviewed around the web quite significantly." It goes on to say, "If you've got a DDR2 motherboard, this RAM is for you. Very highly recommended." (Full review: http://www.ocprices.com/index.php?rev_id=247&page=1&action=reviews)
