AAMA CONNECT 2007 Will Be the Year’s Essential Event for Global Businesses Focused on China and Asia Pacific

SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ — The Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA), which has fostered business ties between Silicon Valley and the Pacific Rim for more than 25 years, today announced the lineup for its annual conference, AAMA CONNECT 2007. With the theme “Technology’s Middle Kingdom,” it brings together over 1,000 leading executives, entrepreneurs and VCs to discuss China’s rising influence in Asia and the West. The event will take place on December 12 at the Santa Clara Hyatt Regency Hotel.

CONNECT 2007 offers a truly unique forum for business leaders, entrepreneurs and investors to discuss key developments in the China and U.S. technology markets. Movers and shakers from more than 70 global companies will discuss hot industry trends, including digital media, investment in China, clean technology, energy, global IPOs, outsourcing, semiconductors and wireless.

John T. Chambers, chairman and CEO of Cisco Systems, will speak about Cisco’s plans for globalization and its efforts in India and China. Vinod Khosla’s session will provide information on recent trends and issues in the clean tech field, including renewable energy, solar and other areas that are attracting national and international interest.
