Break.com, the leading online entertainment channel for men, today announced the appointment of Andrew Budkofsky to senior vice president of sales. In this role, Budkofsky will be responsible for accelerating sales, client services and overall business development for Break.com. Additionally, Budkofsky will help evolve the overall sales strategy for Break.com’s expanding base of media holdings targeting men age 18-34.

“Andrew’s deep client relationships and experience selling across multiple platforms will be critical as we continue our expansion into original video content distributed across our properties,” said Keith Richman, CEO of Break.com. “With Andrews’s help, we can offer advertisers even more unique ways to access our audience of over 18,000,000 unique monthly viewers.”

Prior to joining Break.com, Budkofsky served as senior vice president of sales and partnerships for PodShow, a leading podcasting portal and internet media company, where he was responsible for selling multi-platform packages around video content. Prior to PodShow, Budkofsky was the vice president of sales for Court TV, where he helped manage the turnaround of the network, increasing sales five fold in the four years he was there. Budkofsky has also previously worked at Microsoft, where he managed the WebTV sales division and helped launch Ultimate TV, a Direct TV and Microsoft partnership that brought the first “all in one” box to the consumer market place. Budkofsky began his career in the media industry in various sales positions for Comedy Central and USA.

“Break.com has proven to be one of the best destinations online for advertisers to reach a concentrated male demographic,” said Andrew Budkofsky. “I look forward to helping the talented and cutting-edge team at Break.com accelerate their growth.”

This announcement comes on the heels of Break.com’s recent move to make online video more personal and enable advertisers to target specific categories, providers, or search queries with the addition of two new features including the first recommendation engine for prosumer and consumer generated content, and a customizable embedded video player for everyone from individual users to professional bloggers.
