Symantec Ties Up With EarthLink to Distribute Norton 360 Security Solution

Symantec has announced that EarthLink would become the first major internet service provider in North America to provide Norton 360, an all-in-one security solution that protects against online threats.
Norton 360 is Symantec's all-in-one security solution, which provides safety and security to consumers when conducting their daily computing activities. It combines Symantec's PC Security and PC Tuneup technologies with identity protection and automated backup technologies to help guard against online fraud and protect valuable data.
The addition of Norton 360 represents the latest stage of the partnership between Symantec and EarthLink.
Erin Hintz, vice president of marketing at Symantec, said: "Symantec is proud to extend our partnership with EarthLink to Norton 360. Norton 360 helps restore computer users' trust in the online world."
Craig Forman, president of access and audience at EarthLink, said: "With the addition of Norton 360, our customers are protected against a wide range of security categories with a single product, enabling them to enjoy their time spent online with the peace of mind that their computers and identities are safe and sound."
