BellSouth and Birch Telecom Sign Long-Term Commercial Agreement

ATLANTA, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- BellSouth and Birch Telecom of the South, Inc. today announced the signing of a commercial agreement for the provisioning of wholesale local phone services throughout the nine-state BellSouth region in the Southeast. With the successful completion of negotiations with Birch, BellSouth has now reached 28 long-term commercial agreements with its wholesale customers.
