Kenyan Opposition Presidential Candidate Widens Lead Over Incumbent

The opposition Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, has widened the lead over President Mwai Kibaki, according to unofficial election results broadcast by private KTN TV.
The report says Odinga now has 2,141,126 votes against President Mwai Kibaki’s 1,414,599 and Kalonzo Musyoka’s 194,737. So far, 3,755,281 votes have been counted, the report says.
Odinga stood on an ODM ticket, Kibaki on a Party of National Unity ticket, while Musyoka was on an ODM-Kenya ticket.
