Industry's first multiprotocol 10 Gigabit Network Emulator -- Supporting Ten Gigabit Ethernet, SONET/SDH and Fibre Channel -- Now Shipping
Anue Systems, the company that "Delays your Data," this month began shipping its Ten Gigabit Network Emulator. This latest product platform, called the "H Series," emulates network delays and impairments at up to 10.709 Gbps data rates.
Gigabit and ten gigabit network emulators are used to test networks, network equipment and applications in a lab environment. Anue's ten gigabit Network Emulators can delay signals by up to 1600 milliseconds, and inject errors at rates ranging from 10(-2) to 10(-15). The Anue ten gigabit Network Emulator enables real world error testing with advanced error injection features such as programmable burst length, multiple error types and stochastic error modeling. Customers are using Anue's Network Emulators to validate voice and video applications, simulate satellite networks, emulate service level agreements, and conduct disaster recovery planning.
"We are setting the standard for network emulation at high data rates," said Hemi Thaker, President and CEO of Anue Systems, Inc. "Our ten gigabit solution works at full line rate. This allows our customers to test real world network problems, such as latency and errors, in a precise and controlled manner."
With Anue's "H Series" Network Emulators, one hardware platform provides multiple capabilities, including 10GBASE-W WAN Phy (9953.28 Mbps), 10GBASE-R LAN Phy (10312.5 Mbps), SONET/SDH OC-192/STM-64 (9953.28 Mbps), and 10 Gigabit Fibre Channel (10518.7 Mbps). FEC rates are also supported, including ITU-T G.709 (10.709 Gbps OTU-2 (7.6% FEC rate)). These Network Emulators are also downward compatible, supporting lower GigE, Fibre Channel and SONET/SDH data rates.
