Acacia Subsidiary Enters into License Agreement With Sprint Nextel

Acacia Research Corporation has announced that its Contacts Synchronization subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with Sprint Nextel, a provider of wireless and wireline communications services, for rights to practice.
The United States patent no. 7,072,687, which discloses and claims technologies for synchronizing addresses between one device and another over a wireless communication network, in connection with the settlement of Sprint Nextel’s part in the patent infringement lawsuit Civil Action no. 07-C-0250-C, filed in the Western District of Wisconsin in May, 2007. Terms of the agreement are not disclosed.
