CORRECTING and REPLACING Optical Communication Products Schedules Release of First Quarter 2005 Financial Results and Conference Call

Third graph, first sentence, the correct date should read: February 4, 2005 (sted January 28, 2005). Fifth graph, second sentence, the correct date should read: September 30, 2004 (sted September 20, 2004).

OPTICAL COMMUNICATION PRODUCTS SCHEDULES RELEASE OF FIRST QUARTER 2005 FINANCIAL RESULTS AND CONFERENCE CALL
Optical Communication Products, Inc. (Nasdaq:OCPI), a manufacturer of fiber optic subsystems and modules for metropolitan area networks, local area networks, and storage area networks, today announced that it will release its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 after the close of the Nasdaq market on Thursday, January 27, 2005.
The company's management will review the results and discuss operational highlights of the First Quarter 2005 in a conference call at 5:00 p.m. Eastern/2:00 p.m. Pacific the same day. The conference call will be broadcast live over the Internet at www.ocp-inc.com. To access the Webcast, go to the Investor Information section of the web site. If you do not yet have RealPlayer 8 Basic software please go to www.real.com at least two days before the call to download the software.
