Oklahoma City University Forms Mentorship Program With Dell
Oklahoma City University has formed a mentorship program with Dell.
Dell professionals have begun working with the OCULEADS class, a group of about 30 freshmen who demonstrated leadership skills in high school. Dell will work with the class each year and will present to students at least one current problem faced by leadership in the industry.
Dell will be offering internships to about 25 students each year and will seek to hire about 15 graduating students annually. The company will partner with OCU to offer a professional selling course to OCU juniors this spring, said Jay Martin, Dell OKC site director.
“Our collective plans include offering students a personal selling course, paid summer internships and better access to job opportunities with Dell in Oklahoma City,” Martin said.
