Green Dot Names New Chief Operations and Technology Officer

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ — Green Dot Corporation, the nation’s largest provider of retailer-sold prepaid debit cards and operator of the leading cash acceptance financial network, announced today that it has named Mark Goldin as its Chief Operations and Technology Officer. Goldin reports to Green Dot President and CEO Steve Streit and is responsible for the company’s operational infrastructure including the voice and data networks, retail distribution and supply chain, worldwide call centers and IT application development functions. In addition to his current responsibilities, he will serve in a broader capacity by becoming an even more integral part of corporate strategy and the planning process.

Goldin joined Green Dot’s IT Division in 2005 from Thomson Elite, the leading provider of financial and practice management software systems to law firms worldwide, where he was Chief Technology Officer for 13 years. He has worked in Information Technology for over 20 years and has an extensive background in software development and relational databases.

According to Streit, Mark has demonstrated fantastic leadership and drive in his roles as CIO and head of operations.
