White House Sets Up Bush Trip ‘Blog’

Senior staff will post periodic Internet updates on U.S. President George W. Bush’s trip to the Middle East, a White House spokeswoman said Tuesday.
The president is headed to Israel and the West Bank to try to get Israelis and Palestinians to agree on the definition of a future Palestinian state. Press Secretary Dana Perino said the online updates will be called Trip Notes from the Middle East and posted on the White House Web site, whitehouse.gov.
We encourage you to log on and to check back often to read some of the updates that the staff will be posting throughout the trip, Perino told reporters in Washington. So it will be just a little bit of a blog.
Perino added that the practice may be used for future trips as well.
