Public Affairs: Google Tops New Thought Index

Google tops the first ‘thought leadership index’ compiled by recently formed consultancy The Ledbury Group and opinion research firm Populus.
The index claims to reveal which businesses, individuals and not- for-profit organisations are recognised as ‘thought leaders’.
Google takes the top spot ahead of Al Gore and Apple. The Carbon Trust is the highest ranking voluntary sector organisation – coming in fourth overall.
The Ledbury Group was set up last year by Malcolm Gooderham, ex- Weber Shandwick director and press secretary to Michael Portillo, and Nick Bent, former special adviser to Tessa Jowell
