AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition Downloaded From CNET Download More Than One Million Times in a Single Week

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- GRISOFT, developer of the AVG range of security software, announced that its anti-virus program, AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition, was downloaded more than 1,000,000 times from CNET Download website (http://www.download.com/3101-2023-0-1.html) in the week between Christmas and New Year and also in the week from January 1st to the 7th 2008.

In addition, a record number of new users downloaded AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition directly from GRISOFT's own servers in the same time period.
