Marshfield: Snow Can Be a Danger

MARSHFIELD – The public works department advises residents to be aware of the location of fire hydrants and catch basins that may be buried under snow.
It is important that fire hydrants are visible and accessible in case of an emergency, officials said.
Catch basins allow storm water to drain. If inaccessible, water can pool and turn to ice, causing danger for pedestrians and vehicles.
