Brothers Tell of Tragedy
January 16, 2008
TWO brothers yesterday paid tribute to their mother and sister, both believed to have died at the hands of police inspector Garry Weddell.
The body of Traute Maxfield, 70, was found on Saturday, near where police found Weddell’s body.
He was on bail for the murder of his wife Sandra, and is thought to have killed himself after shooting his mother-in-law.
Tom Khan, 47, and Paul Carne, 48, from Bedfordshire, said:
“Words alone cannot describe our sense of loss.”
