Jokers’ Sick Site for Mone

SICK pranksters have set up a website that glorifies Carstairs killer Robert Mone.

The internet page, on social network site Bebo, is set up in rapist Mone’s name and claims he has a “good heart”. It also says he’s trying to redeem himself so he can fit into society when he is freed.

Users have posted horrific messages praising the axe murderer’s carving skills and asking for tips on how to become a “beast”.

One said Mone, 58, who could be freed next year after 40 years behind bars, was an “international hero”.

The monster was sent to Carstairs for blasting pregnant teacher Nanette Hanson to death with a shotgun and holding her class hostage in 1967.

He raped one girl and molested another during a siege at the Dundee school.

Three innocent people were killed in 1976 when he broke out of Carstairs.

Elizabeth Clark, 55, who was among the schoolgirls taken hostage, slated the Edinburgh-based computer geeks who set up the page.

She said: “How can they get away with glorifying the things Mone did to us?”
