IBM and CMS Provide Securities Solutions for Dai Viet Securities Corporation

Today Dai Viet Securities Corporation (DVSC), IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Capital Market Solutions (CMS) signed a technology agreement under which CMS will provide securities solutions while IBM will provide IT infrastructure and project management services for DVSC.
CMS's Trade Anywhere solution for securities transaction and NOVA solution for settlement on IBM's System x platform will provide DVSC's IT system with the availability, security and resiliency it requires in today's on-demand securities market. This will allow DVSC to apply its resources to strategic activities, focus on its professional services and enhance client satisfaction.
This cooperation will help DVSC ensure its rapid growth in the fast developing securities market as well as follow regulations from government and financial sector. IBM System x has been applied broadly in data centers of many well-known trading companies in Vietnam. Of note, System x was voted to be the Best Server for 6 consecutive years (2002-2007) by PC World's readers. Besides, in 2006 and 2007, System x has been awarded as "The Favorite IT Brand" at Golden Dragon and "The Best Choice" at CIO Choice Award.
