Precision Dynamics Partners With Gateway Ticketing

Posted on: Friday, 18 January 2008, 12:00 CST

US-based automated identification solutions provider Precision Dynamics has formed a partnership with admission control and ticketing software company Gateway Ticketing Systems to provide plug-and-play RFID solutions.

According to a study conducted by Idtechex, the market for RFID, including systems and services was worth $2.77 billion in 2006 and it expected to reach $26.23 billion by 2016.

The partnership will allow Precision Dynamics to enter the markets served by Gateway through its RFID wristbands. Gateway will be able to incorporate a plug-and-play RFID system into its point of sale software module, the companies said.

Robin Barber, vice president at Precision Dynamics said: "This partnership will enable us to expand to broader markets and present custom, quality RFID solutions to more businesses."

Michael Andre, president at Gateway said: "By doing that, we help our customers build a positive relationship with their guests, and that translates into repeat business for them. The RFID products developed by Precision Dynamics help us achieve the goal of an optimized guest experience."

In May 2007, the company formed partnership with Mississippi-based integrated software and hardware company Ideal Software to provide automated RFID enabled arcade game payments. In April 2007, it collaborated with electronic locking systems provider Salto Systems to provide electronic access control using RFID wristbands.
