ADERANT Adds Four New Competencies to Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status
Posted on: Wednesday, 23 January 2008, 09:00 CST
ADERANT, a global provider of business and financial management software for law firms, today announced that the company was certified by Microsoft in four new competency areas, further adding to its status as a Microsoft Gold Certified partner. ADERANT received certifications in the areas of Advanced Infrastructure (Active Directory and Identity Management Specialization), Custom Development (Web Development Specialization), Data Management (Business Intelligence Competency), and ISV/Solution Software Competency. These certifications further strengthen ADERANT's relationship with Microsoft and ensure that the company's clients have access to the most advanced applications built on Microsoft technologies.
As a Microsoft Gold Certified partner since 2005, ADERANT has already demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven its ability to meet client needs. The new certifications provide ADERANT with additional support from Microsoft--including software, training, and guidance--that translate into higher quality applications that take full advantage of Microsoft's products and technologies.
"Solutions competencies are an important way for Microsoft to better enable ISVs, like ADERANT, to meet customer needs," said Sanjay Parthasarathy, corporate vice president of the Developer & Platform Evangelism Group at Microsoft. "They allow ISVs to keep and win customers through their deep knowledge of solutions-based Microsoft platform technologies. Microsoft has a long history of working closely with ISV partners to help them deliver compelling solutions and applications to our mutual customers, and the Microsoft Competencies are an important step in continuing to enhance vital relationships with ISVs worldwide."
"Our achievement of these new Microsoft certifications is just another example of our commitment to providing law firms with advanced applications that are built on proven, industry-standard technologies. The new Microsoft competencies will enable us to deliver better solutions to our clients in the areas that matter to them, such as security and access rights, thin-client application deployment, business intelligence, and more," said Michael Kohlsdorf, President and Chief Executive Officer for ADERANT.
New Microsoft Competencies
While achieving Microsoft Gold Certified partner status only requires that a company achieve competency in one area, ADERANT has far exceeded this requirement with the voluntary achievement of four additional competencies, including:
--
Advanced Infrastructure Solutions (Active Directory and Identity
Management Specialization)
Recognizes ADERANT's proven expertise in designing and/or
implementing complex infrastructure solutions such as Active
Directory(R)- and Microsoft Host Integration Server-based design
and deployment solutions, as well as Microsoft Exchange Server
migration or deployment solutions. Because law firms are
increasingly asked to do more with less, this competency
highlights ADERANT's unique skill in helping its clients
access management solutions, improve operational efficiency,
and reduce security risks.
--
Custom Development Solutions (Web Development Specialization)
Highlights ADERANT's ability to provide custom-built solutions to
its clients that require value-added capabilities to optimize
business opportunities. Specializations within the competency are
Application Infrastructure Development, Smart Client Development
and Web Development.
--
Data Management (Business Intelligence Competency)
Shows ADERANT's competency in deploying data warehousing, online
analytical processing, data mining, decision support and in-depth
reporting solutions. Specializations within the competency are
Business Intelligence and Database Management.
--
ISV/Solutions Software Competency
Proves ADERANT's experience in developing and marketed packed
applications built on Microsoft technologies.
