AT&T to Provide Managed Services Solutions to Wakefern Food

AT&T has announced a four-year contract with Wakefern Food Corporation, to provide wide area network and managed services solutions.
AT&T will connect Wakefern's 250-plus domestic stores and corporate offices by using managed data services over a multi-protocol label switching network with DSL backup. AT&T will also provide an extension of its AT&T Business Network Voice Services.
Charles Hawalka, manager of communications and information services division at Wakefern, said: "The seamless, integrated AT&T solution addresses technology issues that result in a better in-store experience for our customers while helping us to control technology costs."
