The company has claimed that this service is now available in Athens, Brodhead, Cambridge, Deerfield, Edgar, Edgerton, Lac du Flambeau, Lodi, Marathon, Marshall, Mauston, Mineral Point, Reedsburg, Stratford, Sun Prairie and Three Lakes.
According to Verizon, the new Verizon High Speed Internet service offers qualified customers a downstream connection speed of up to seven megabits per second. Verizon now offers the new service in some 400 communities across the country.
Paul Fuglie, vice president of external affairs for Wisconsin at Verizon, said: "Our super-fast broadband provides all the speed you need for everything you do online - and at a reasonable cost. From digital music and streaming video to photo sharing and online gaming, to video conferencing and working from home - it's faster, easier and more affordable with Verizon High Speed Internet."
