PCI Education, a publisher and reseller of products for students with special needs and learning differences, has announced that its e-Commerce department has implemented a video conferencing solution to facilitate advanced customer service processes.
PCI Education can now host real-time product demonstrations via any web browser. The solution can also provide in-depth product training, informational seminars, online classes, file sharing, and more for any customer in the world with a broadband connection and the web browser of their choice.
The video conferencing software is provided by MegaMeeting.com. This online video conferencing software is 100% browser-based, so customers don't have to download, install or configure any unwanted software. It works on PCs, Macs, and Linux computers, and on all the major browsers, allowing PCI Education to broadcast to the widest possible audience.
Chuck Eberle, president of PCI Education, said: "When a customer calls with a product question, we can go beyond describing the benefits of the products - we can show them. We feel it is a great way of using technology to reach the school districts and educators who buy our products. We have already received very positive feedback about the program."
