Procera(R) Networks, Inc. (AMEX: PKT), a pioneering developer of telco-class network traffic and service management infrastructure equipment, today announced that Goldfield Telecom, a leading value-added reseller, has joined the ProceraPro channel partner program. Goldfield Telecom serves more than 500 ILEC and CLEC service providers, as well as enterprise customers, across the United States. The company has deployed its first Procera PacketLogic solutions for North State Communications, an Independent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) based in High Point, North Carolina (see press release issued January 29, 2008).
"Over nearly 15 years we've built a reputation for offering reliable, cost-effective IP networking products coupled with world-class service and support," said Darrell Seaba, president of Goldfield Telecom. "PacketLogic's deep packet inspection technology has proved itself in hundreds of service-provider networks worldwide through highly accurate traffic identification, flexible rule creation and support for lawful-intercept compliance. We're pleased to add PacketLogic to our product offerings."
"We are pleased to welcome Goldfield Telecom, a leader in serving the service-provider market, into the ProceraPro channel partner program," said Frederick Harris, director of channels for Procera Networks. "The explosion of bandwidth-intensive applications and services across the Internet has made accurate network traffic management ever more critical for service providers as they strive to provide a high-quality user experience. Through PacketLogic, Goldfield Telecom can now offer their customers a highly scalable, flexible and robust solution for their network traffic management needs."
The award-winning PacketLogic is a modular traffic and service management system that consists of five modules. The base module, included in all PacketLogic systems, is the Surveillance module. Additional optional modules include Filtering, Traffic Shaping, Statistics, and Web Statistics. Procera also offers a line of products to help service providers meet the technical assistance requirements of CALEA (Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Agencies) in the U.S., and other lawful-intercept regulations in Europe and elsewhere.
